THE STORY – Of course, Sara and I skied on our first date. It wasn’t an option to do anything else. Over the last couple of days it had snowed 80 cm and I had managed to score two seats in the first helicopter to the Petit Combin, Switzerland. Clear blue skies and first tracks down Les Follats glacier: one of those unforgettable days in the mountains. That afternoon, Sara, who already had 12 years of experience from designing ski wear, asked me if I wanted to start Elevenate with her.

So after 20 years in the Alps, over 6000 ski days between us, waist deep powder, free skiing competitions, big lines, UIAGM mountain guide exams, X-Games, tree skiing, sunshine, couloirs, ski bums, the world cup, huge glaciers, ski touring in Maroc, joy, bivouacs, Les Guides de Verbier, funerals, sponsor deals, first decents on Greenland, pre season camps with the Swedish Freestyle team, mountain huts, heli skiing, podiums and designing ski wear for other brands…
It was simply a natural progression to create Elevenate. We moved from Verbier to Åre so we could start making ski wear the way we like it, and to keep skiing as much as possible all over the world.
