Erik Sunnerheim

Even though Erik’s nickname is Demonen – the Demon – he is by far one of the most likeable and humble guys you’re likely to meet in the ski world. Still, some years ago, people in Åre started seeing ski tracks in the most radical places, but no one ever saw the skier… the talk of the town was that it had to be a demon. Hence the nickname. Most people who have skied with Erik rank him as the best they’ve seen.

He did two years on the FWT, with eighth overall as his best result. But it is when he freeskis on his home mountain that he really shines, as when he is truly free he takes skiing to a whole other level.
