Layers of Perfection
Founded in Åre in 2010, Elevenate is shaped by the culture of a modern mountain resort. Designer and competitive freeskier Sara Rönngren and UIAGM mountain guide Jimmy Odén have realised their vision of creating the perfect ski wear range: garments that use a layering system for easy temperature adjustment, keeping you warm and dry – and looking great, whatever the weather or activity.
She first stood on skis as a three-year-old, was an alpine skier aged ten and ended her blossoming freeskiing career at 18 – but her inner compass still points straight out on the mountain. Elevenate friend Hanna Ovin combines her job as a bootfitter and downhill guide with maximum O2 in Åre.
Bec de Rosses
Probably the best ski jacket in the world? There are no shortcuts to an anatomically shaped shell! The Bec de Rosses Jacket is made from 150 pieces for excellent fit, allowing for plenty of movement and perfect for skiers who want to easily adjust their temperature using a layering system. The new generation of Gore-Tex Pro has up to 28% better breathability than the earlier Gore-Tex Pro Shell, making a huge difference when ski touring or skiing.
