Insulation where you need it

When designing the Mont Fort line we wanted to make garments for active skiers in cold conditions. It’s hard to stay warm in cold temperatures when you are sweating. Base layers and mid layers easily get damp and then cold. Ventilation is the key. By removing the insulation from zones where you produce heat, such as the back of the jacket, we have reduced the risk of overheating. At the same time- the most critical zones exposed to cold wind are insulated. [/one_half] [one_half_last]lavancher

Mont Fort

Standing at 3330 meters and located in 4 Vallées, Mont Fort is the highest skiable area in the valley (with a panoramic view of the Matterhorn, the Combins as well as the Mont-Blanc ranges.) There’s one piste run down, it’s steep and bumped and over 1,300 metres from top to bottom. From the top you also get access to the Verbier classic- “Mont Fort Backside”- an awesome off-piste itinerary. Or you can choose to enjoy the enormous back country area for ski-touring. The North Face is accessible with a short hike from the cable car to the very top of Mont Fort- it is steep, at some part exposed, pretty short run and one of Verbier's must do lines for anyone who enjoys off piste skiing.
