Off season isn't the end of anything. It's a shift.

The rhythm changes. The terrain changes. The light stretches later than you expect, and the mountains we learn in winter reveal themselves differently in summer, drier, steeper in places, quieter on the approach. We keep moving through them. We just move differently.
