The Work We Do
How we follow up our sustainable development
To guide our sustainable development, we have chosen to work with the Swedish environmental objectives system, launched by the Swedish Government in 1999. This has one generational goal and sixteen environmental quality objectives that guide Swedish efforts to safeguard the environment. As a Swedish brand it feels right to base our environmental work on Swedish goals and objectives. Since 2015, the Swedish environmental objectives system has been linked to the Paris Agreement, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals. Our sustainability work is defined using, and guided by, four of these development goals:
We know that our business leaves a footprint and we strive to minimise it as much as we can. We produce long-lasting garments, choose sustainable materials whenever we can, travel less, use digital platforms for meetings, select reliable suppliers that take both social and environmental responsibility, make sure that leftover fabrics come are used through initiatives by us or by local actors, and we cooperate with the Global Relations charity, to whom we donate clothes.
Based on the Swedish environmental objectives, we have been able to map were we are today and, most importantly, what we can do to further reduce our environmental and social impact.
Goal 6: Clean water and sanitation
Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth
Goal 12: Responsible consumption and production
Goal 15: Life on Land
